Resource Information

Texas Food Pantry

FoodPantries.org is an independent website who is not affiliated with any government agency or non-profit organization. They list “food pantries”, or food banks, throughout the U.S. by manually collecting data. It is a free and collaborative effort. If you know of a food bank that is not listed, you can add a listing at the Texas Food Pantry website.

Texas Workforce Commission

The Texas Workforce Commission offers financial relief to Texan’s who have lost their job by no fault of their own. TWC is a government agency who uses the taxes the employers pay to the government; it is not funded by individual taxpayers. For more information, visit the unemployment FAQ.

Texas Health and Human Services

The Texas Health and Human Services is an informative website; not a medical one. Ultimately, your doctor must make the decision to have you tested, and drive-thru screening locations have strict criteria and are often not covered by insurance. While it is a good resource to know where your nearest location is, you also must know the criteria. For more information, visit the drive-thru testing website.
